Capra House is owned by brothers, James and Steve Schindler. James is presently Rehabilitation Director at a large skilled
nursing facility and has been working in long term care for over 10 years. With this experience comes the understanding of
the burdens of institutionalized care.
The Capra House is dedicated to their beloved Grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 1997. A challenging
road lay ahead for the family. This lifealtering experience gave them insight into the plight so many families face in the
care of a loved one. They decided to create a place that brought comfort and care to the elderly who need assistance to live
productive lives and their families who face challenges in caring for them.
